VCII stands as an amenity-rich office building nestled in the heart of Downtown Vancouver's bustling Central Business District. Tasked with enhancing the building's two main entrances, we were approached to craft captivating content for two large screens. Our objective? To provide dynamic videography showcasing Vancouver and British Columbia's beauty across all four seasons, with updates and announcements tailored to each day's theme.

We integrated 3D graphic elements that responded to real-time weather conditions. For example, as wind speeds fluctuated, our 3D models moved with it, while particle density adjusted with temperature variations. Collaborating closely with Cristian Gonzalez, a talented creative coder and engineer, we sourced artwork from artists worldwide to create diverse and engaging textures for each 3D model.

This collaborative effort resulted in a visually captivating project that not only entertains but also informs. My role also focused on laying out typography for optimal legibility on the large screens. We chose to incorporate information such as important daily updates for those working in the building, the time and weather and inspirational quotes to add more detail overlaid on top of the videography.
